ORIENTATION AND TRAINING

The purpose of the New Substitute Orientation is to prepare individuals for their journey as a substitute teacher in the Tri-County area. The orientation will cover basic skills and strategies for success in the classroom, as well as activities and an overview of the calling systems and payroll processes used in the surrounding districts and counties.  Participants are encouraged to ask questions and strategize unique classroom management ideas with their peers.

An invitation to attend the New Substitute Orientation will be sent upon completion of an online application on EDJOIN and a valid 30-Day Substitute Permit or credential.
